Trump Works at McDonalds

 In a strange turn of events last week we saw former President Donald Trump pulling a shift at a McDonalds in Pennsylvania. So what was going on why did this happen and what does it really mean? Well lets break it down. 

So as I mentioned last week former President Donald Trump while campaigning for the 2024 election stopped to work a shift at a McDonalds in Pennsylvania, but why? Well typically when running campaigns or while already in office officials will typically do press stunts like this to appear more grounded and connected with the average person. These officials sometimes claim to be an average man or woman who is just like you and me, so they go to places like you or I would go to and connect with people. For example in this video where Obama stops for ice cream or this one where he stopped at the Varsity for food. It appears from first glance and without context thats just what Trump was doing here as well stopping for a press stunt and to connect with people, after all Pennsylvania is a highly competitive state during elections. There is however more than meets the eye in this event though. See before this event VP Harris had made a statement that she worked a summer job at McDonalds (again trying to appeal to the common man approach here). Trump has refuted this claim though stating that she never did work there. It is important to note though that McDonalds has stated they can't confirm the claims made by either side as they didn't have records for all positions when Harris would have worked there.
